Staying signed in and signing out
Draft outline
- Sessions last up to a week, then you sign in again (
OTC_SESSION_MAX_AGE_SECS, 7 days by default). The session cookie is described in the Cookie Policy. - Sign out from the account menu (your avatar, top right).
- Signing out ends the session on Off the Clock; revoke the app on your account's settings page to remove access entirely.
Admins: stepping up
Draft outline
Admins sign in like everyone else, and the admin pages ask once for extra permissions (managing spaces and the admin methods). Link Running the community.
Trouble signing in
Draft outline
- "Not a member": you haven't been invited yet, or the invitation names a different handle.
- Your handle changed: sign in with the new one; your account (DID) is the same.
- Signed out unexpectedly: your account's server refused a request. Sign in again; if it repeats, tell an admin.
