On your phone or computer
Draft outline
- Settings › Notifications on this device › Turn on notifications on this device. Your browser asks permission.
- iPhone and iPad: only works in the app added to your Home Screen (see Installing the app).
- Choose which kinds you get; turn a device off again from the same page.
- Push messages go through your browser's push service (Apple, Google, Mozilla) encrypted; they carry only what the notification shows.
