Using Off the Clock
Joining the community
Being invited isn't the same as being a member. You join when you say so.
Invited, then joined
Draft outline
- An admin's grant makes you invited. Your first sign-in shows the welcome screen.
- Pressing Join writes a membership acceptance (a record in your account, in general). From then on you're a member.
- Until you join you can't read or post anything.

Joining more spaces
Draft outline
- Spaces are granted by admins; there's no "request to join" button yet.
- The space directory (
/spaces) lists the spaces that have a directory profile, with whom to ask. - Unlisted spaces don't appear in the directory.

Space policies
Draft outline
- Some spaces have a policy: a summary and house rules. You accept it before reading or posting there.
- When the policy changes, you're asked to accept again.
- Accepting is a record in your account; admins see who has accepted.

Leaving
Draft outline
There is no Leave button yet: ask an admin to remove you, which deletes the grant that let you in (Terms §6). Your posts and everything else you wrote stay in your account; Off the Clock stops showing them.
